Autism and loss, in fact,  loss for anyone surely? But I'm not able to put myself in their pain, I'm sorry. This is grief from an autistic point of view. My point of view. Trying to make sense of all of it as the world moves on.

How do you adapt to this new normal where every interaction with others, every place you visit, is alone. Who hears your voice without the mask on.

17 years. You get to know someone after that amount of time. They get to know you. No masks, just unconditional love and support for who you are.

He's away somewhere. He's busy. I cannot call him to tell him of any triumphs or my faux pas.... That's how I manage sometimes. It works for me at the moment.
