2017 -2020 As Director of The Creative Butterfly Project CIC and lead facilitator

 

2020 The Lioness Exercise Book’ published 

Illustrations by Jill Boyd, in collaboration with Deborah Hooker.

300 free copies were printed with the Safer Communities funding,  distributed by Jill Boyd to various community organisations for their clients within the Covid-19 Lockdown in April 2020.

2019 The West Yorkshire Police Commissioner's Safer Communities Fund Awarded of £6000 - The Lioness Course created and designed by Jill Boyd.

Focusing on supporting women with children & young people in response to children being collateral damage in domestic abuse, needing on-going support.

2018  £10,000 National Lottery Award in partnership with Staying Put, DV Charity, The Word-Art Project. Community based creative workshops x4

2017 

The West Yorkshire Police Commissioner's Safer Communities Fund of £5000 Awarded, providing three 6 week blocks which were delivered to more survivors of abuse focusing on raising confidence and self-esteem. Programme created and designed by Jill Boyd.

The Creative Butterfly Project became a Community Interest Company (not-for-profit). I became one of 3 voluntary Directors as well as it's lead facilitator.

The Creative Butterfly Project reached the finals of the National Lottery Awards for Best Art Project in the UK. 1 of only 7 finalists in the country.

2016 Jill Founded The Creative Butterfly Project, working in partnership with domestic abuse organisations, to facilitate recovery from abuse using creative processes. This was after facilitating 3 art sessions at the Baildon Community Link.

As a Freelance Community Artist/Facilitator

2010 Craven Organisation for Drugs & Alcohol - Jill Clcreated and facilitated a 6 session project on issues around substance misuse culminating in an exhibition of the client's work in Skipton Library, North Yorkshire.
