About the Project
- Founder & Facilitator: Established in May 2016 by artist and former mental health nurse Jill Boyd.
- Partners: Developed in collaboration with West Yorkshire domestic abuse charities including Staying Put (Bradford) and the Domestic Violence Service (Keighley). [1, 2]
- Mission: Provided therapeutic, expressive art workshops designed to empower survivors of domestic abuse, help rebuild self-esteem, and reduce social isolation. [1, 2]
- Legacy: The national recognition from the 2017 National Lottery Awards helped the initiative incorporate as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) later that year to secure further grassroots funding. [1, 2]
